Meek Mill (@MeekMill) - "I Wanna Know" (Drake & Safaree Diss)

   While going through this soap opera I try not to be bias like most of Drake Navy. Like I gave Drake credit for "Back To Back" he had a few hot bars and crazy shots at Meek but Drake's first diss was very light. This is Meek's first diss which is entitled "I Wanna Know" and unlike Drake, Meek spit facts and wasn't trying to be funny. Meek also is going at two dudes on one track. Man I'm not getting into the bullshit because people choosing sides over favorite artist or whatever but Meek's diss is better to me. Take a listen wit your bias headphones off thou. Safaree (@IAMSAFAREE) - "LifeLine" (Meek Mill & Nicki Minaj Diss)

    Like I said before, watching this Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill, Drake and Safaree incident is really making me understand why my mom is so big on soap operas.  I thought this situation would have died down by now, but naw it's only getting bigger; now it includes Drake! If you been under a rock you probably missed what Drake and Meek Mill are going through, but now Safaree hops back in the fold with this diss track at Meek Mill and Nicki called "Lifeline." Jimmy Thousands (@whorunphilly2k) Presents: Who Run Philly 2k (NBA) Tournament

    Many try or envision to run a sports tournament or game tournament but not many are not successful, especially in the hood and when it consist of hood niggas, but Jimmy Thousands ran his event like a professional. The event was promoted well, dudes from all over the city attended the event including former big time Philadelphia high school sport stars such as Brandon Austin (Basketball) and Rob Hollomon, (football) who went on to play college football at Central Connecticut State(CCSU). He (Rob)also had an invite at Saints camp this year; so yeah it was sports talent in the room not just on the controllers.
   In my eyes the event was truly a success, if it wasn't it wouldn't be another one right?
   The event was held at a private location and a small but spacious apartment. When the competitors arrived, the room was equipped with four PS4's and four flat screen televisions including one huge one. Pizza and beverages were provided also. The event consisted of 32 players all trying to win the tournaments grand prize of $500! With such a big amount of money on the line, all competitors kept it competitive and not negative. While I was their I didn't hear or see any arguments or anything getting out of hand.
   The rules were simple four  3 minute quarters, winner advances loser is eliminated. Unfortunately for me I lost in the first round. No excuses but my team, the Chicago Bulls didn't show up, exactly how they didn't show up in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Derrick Rose was sub par, Pau Gasol was missing dunks, my team went like 1 for 30 from behind the arc. Joakim Noah was my best offensive player and that's saying something. But again no excuses even though my opponent was letting the computer play defense for him. I'm going to get some practice in and learn the game slot more and I will be back, and be back to win it all.
    The most popular teams was the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Cleveland Cavaliers, whom which a few times three games had OKC versus Cleveland at one time on all four televisions, it was ridiculous, like guys its 28 other teams in the NBA.
   All in all, the event was a success, I would give it an A++. Jimmy really deserves major props for it. His next tournament will be August 22. I will post the flyer so you can get the full details. Marissa (@ItsRissaBae) - "Angel Of Mine" (Cover Video)

  Marissa, when I first started following her on Instagram I thought she was just another In stage am model, but nah, she really has talent. Her voice is just as beautiful as her looks. She does a lot of song covers and she has some songs of her own. Here is a video of her singing to Monica's hit song "Angel Of Mine."    Underrated artist and popular song writer Verse Simmonds links up with the second most featured singer (behind Chris Brown) Jeremih. They connect to create a track entitled "All I Want." Damian Lilliard (@Dame_Lillard) - "Soldier In The Game" (Comma's Beat)

   Rap game in trouble when you have NBA players that can rap better than actual rappers. Damian Lilliard a.k.a. Dame Dolla of the Portland Trailblazers has been known for having a sick freestyle game, now he spits his verse on Future's "Comma's" beat. Upcoming underground Philly rapper Dot Deniro has progressed in many ways when it comes to his music. His flow has gotten better, his wordplay and being able to understand what he is talking about. Troy Ave (@TroyAve) - "Major Without A Deal" - Album Review

   Signed artist should be ashamed of themselves and the music industry must really be doing poor if Troy Ave only sold 4500 copies in one week. Troy Ave's album "Major Without A Deal" is exceptional. I enjoyed listening to every track and if they sold it on stores I would have bought one. For a independent artist he had a load of features, such as 50 Cent, Killa Cam, Fat Joe and Fabolous to name a few.  My favorite tracks are: track 4, track 5, track 16 & 17. This dude Troy Ave should be signed by now, and his album sales don't add up to quality of what he put out; 17 songs, all of them good quality songs, while industry rappers only giving you like 12 tracks and like three of them sound like they should have been throw-ins. Only negative I have is Troy Ave has to find better beats, better producers; my opinion.  If you haven't listened to the album yet, the link to the album stream is below.

Ace Hood (@Acehood) - "H.O.E.(Hell On Earth)"

    This one going to the playlist. Ace Hood is one of the few hard rappers, one of the few rappers period that has something to say and knowledgeable in most of his tracks.
