One of the few athletes besides Jim Brown and Muhammad Ali to stand for something and live it. Alot of these athletes say they look up to u for what you did for the change but not realizing all the bullshit you had to go through to be the man you was. Your on the court talent would have made you a hall of famer alone, but it was how you played, how you carried yourself on and off the court that made you a legend in all the hoods across america. It's no athlete out pass or present that relates to the streets as much as Allen Iverson do....I'll wait...They are lucky you wasn't playing while all this bullshit is going on now with America because I know you would be wearing them Tee shirts you would be taking a knee/stand for what's right and not being a uncle tom or a robot because of money.
You made me wanna watch games regardless if I knew the team was going to lose or not because you was a one man team one man highlight by yourself. You never chased to be with All-Star teams, you gave us your all as if it was your "last game." Lastly, I don't care what nobody say, no player would have taken that team of 2001 to the NBA Finals and won one game against that dominant Los Angeles Laker team. Give him his respect, the greatest pound for pound in my eyes on and off the court.
