About a week or two ago rapper Killer Mike, whom is becoming more known for his efforts for the black community than his rap career helped an Atlanta black owned Citizen's trust bank gain 8,000 bank deposits in less than a week. Mike sparked the business to the bank with his comments toward the recent of killings of two black men. Mike stated: "....until you as a corporation start to speak on our behalf, I want all my money, and I'm taking all my money to Citizen's Trust." In response to this Houston rappers notable Trae Tha Truth, Slim Thug and also Paul Wall whom I believe is half or majority white! Also in response to this popular and well respected public and knowledgeable speaker and also my fellow Philly brother Dr. Umar Johnson has also stated that blacks should put our money in black banks. Stating blacks help soundingly in this economy grossing close to a trillion dollars a year! Black america being the 10th richest nation in the entire world!

We all say support black businesses, but I know myself how do we supposed to know which business is black owned? A business can be owned by blacks but have white or other employees. So I believe every black business should be endorsed with a logo like the NBA is endorsed with a patch/logo. Each black business should be endorsed with a logo on their buildings, websites, mechandise to allow our brothers/sisters to know that it is black owned.
